“Learnalilgivinanlovin” is a funky pop tune that’s an obvious throwback to ’60s Motown which is probably why I love it so much. He’s either sampling the Ronettes with the drums at the top or channeling them (and the Phil Spector “Wall of Sound”) pretty heavily and purposefully. With a driving guitar riff, blasting horns and stacked vocals this track is huge and so much fun.

This is the kind of story you love to read. Dowdy, 48 years old and never been kissed, Susan Boyle of Scotland shocked the pants off the judges and the audience of Britain’s Got Talent when she gave the performance of a lifetime. Susan sang the very beautiful and very difficult “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Miserables (a musical I grew up singing along with) and received a standing ovation and glowing praise from the bewildered and quite obviously moved set of judges – even the cynical Simon Cowell.

Top Ten Sites for Free Music

For me, the measure of a good free music site is how quickly I can play the song I’m looking for and with the fewest number of strings attached. I don’t want to have to sign up for yet another site only to be bombarded with email updates and special offers. There are only a few sites that do this well (which I will highlight in this post) but in the interest of all of the other people out there who enjoy music sites for their communities and advanced features I felt the need to cover a fuller spectrum.
